NIC logoThis webinar will help agencies, trainers, curriculum designers, learning and performance professionals, leaders, and others involved in the corrections training profession from community corrections, jails, and prisons in both adult and juvenile justice settings learn about performance research and how it applies to corrections training, and will discuss how to get the most out of the training that agencies design and deliver to staff. Through a series of interactive activities, including polling and chat, the NIC will explore how the ADDIE framework (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) is the fundamental building block for answering these questions. The webinar will also provide an overview of NIC’s white paper Training from A to E: Analysis to Evaluation on learning and performance and its application to corrections training. During the webinar, participants will have the opportunity to engage in activities to apply learning and performance research to the training they analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate in their own organization.
