This webinar will discuss how reporters can utilize the Clean Slate Clearinghouse to understand the criminal record clearance process in states across the country. The presenters will explain how the Clean Slate Clearinghouse works and offer tips to journalists on how to use the site’s searchable database of state criminal record clearance policies to inform their reporting; they will also discuss how to effectively report on people who have criminal records and the policies that deal with clearance.
