This webinar will explain how the Office of Justice Programs grant process works and focus on what applicants should understand when applying for funding. BJA staff will discuss application requirements, how to find critical information in a solicitation, and what to include in an application. Applying for an OJP grant can be a challenging process and this webinar will educate participants on the necessary steps a first-time applicant should understand. A Q&A session will follow at the end of the webinar. In this webinar, attendees will learn:

  • What requirements applicants should prepare pre-submission (Grants.gov registration process, etc.)
  • How to find the critical elements of a solicitation
  • What applications should include
  • Tips for developing a budget
  • How the peer review process works.
