ncjtcThe National Criminal Justice Training Center of Fox Valley Technical College is hosting a training about merging local youth and justice data, local alternative intervention and prevention initiatives, and national efforts with the goal of improving youth interactions with the justice system. The training will focus on understanding the history of disproportionality and disparity and its impact today; it will also present ideas on relevant alternatives, cultural competencies, youth development, the effect of trauma on youth, and the role of the justice system and the community in improving youth-justice interactions. Law enforcement, juvenile justice, courts, corrections personnel, and community-based organizations are encouraged to attend.
