Center for Juvenile Justice ReformThe Center for Juvenile Justice Reform at Georgetown University is hosting its fifth Reducing Racial and Ethnic Disparities Certificate Program, in partnership with the Center for Children’s Law and Policy. The program seeks to help jurisdictions reduce over-representation of youth of color in the juvenile justice system using a data-driven and research-based approach. Curriculum modules will include elements and themes of delving into data, objective decision making, talking about race and confronting implicit bias, cultural responsiveness and valuing families, collaboration and engagement, identifying and effectively using resources, and program planning and implementation The program will take place November 14–17, 2017.
