The U.S. Department of Justice’s National Institute of Justice (NIJ) is seeking applications for funding of innovative, investigator-initiated technology research and development projects to apply advances in artificial intelligence (AI) to promote the successful reentry of people under community supervision in the United States. This includes the development of AI solutions to aid community supervision agencies and personnel in identifying people at the highest risk of violating the terms of their release while under community supervision.
The solicitation provides further details about the program. Applications are due by May 13.
