Charles Evans was convicted of several felonies in the 1990s after he became addicted to drugs and started embezzling from his job. He’s now a Cumberland County Commissioner and a prominent supporter of a bill that, if passed, makes it easier for people with criminal records to get jobs. He says it would help the economy and cut down on crime.
