ASU arizona state university children of incarcerated parentsArizona State University’s Center for Child Well-Being is seeking proposals for its 2018 National Children of Incarcerated Parents Conference, which will be held in Phoenix, Arizona from April 22–25. The conference will highlight four key categories that include: understanding the impact of parental incarceration on children and families; evidence of program and policy effectiveness; training and support for professionals; and empowering change through system building, disproportionality, and lived experience. ASU is accepting proposals for various presentation formats, including 20-minute oral or poster presentations, 90-minute discussion panels, and 15-minute lunchtime TED-like talks.
