SAMHSA logoThe Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration is accepting applications for the Tribal Opioid Response grant program, which aims to address the opioid crisis in tribal communities by increasing access to culturally appropriate and evidence-based treatment, including medication-assisted treatment using one of the three FDA-approved medications for the treatment of opioid addictions. The intent is to reduce unmet treatment need and opioid overdose-related deaths through the provision of prevention, treatment, and/or recovery activities, including providing treatment transition and coverage for people reentering communities from criminal justice settings or other rehabilitative settings.

Learn more and apply. Applications are due by August 6.
