OJJDP-LogoThe U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention is seeking applications for the FY 2019 Second Chance Act Youth Offender Reentry Program, which encourages collaboration between state agencies, local government, and community and faith-based organizations to address the challenges that reentry and recidivism reduction pose for youth who are at a moderate to high risk of reoffending and are returning to their communities from juvenile residential or correctional facilities. The program provides funding for states, local governments, territories, or Indian tribes in partnership with interested persons (including Federal corrections and supervision agencies), service providers, and nonprofit organizations for the purpose of strategic planning and implementation of juvenile reentry projects to provide comprehensive reentry services before, during, and after release from confinement.

The solicitation provides further details about the program. Applications are due by June 24.
