Loyola University squareThe School of Law and the School of Education at Loyola University Chicago (LUC) are accepting applications for spring enrollment in their part-time online program. The Certificate in School Discipline Reform program is designed to equip education professionals with the tools and skills needed to implement holistic, prevention-oriented approaches to school discipline.

The certificate is interdisciplinary and incorporates system consultation, research and evidence-based practices, data analysis, needs assessment, action planning, restorative justice skills-building, and legal/policy analysis. Students enrolling in the spring semester would begin the program with a course in restorative practices that offers a weekend intensive in-person retreat and additional content online throughout the semester. The certificate can be earned as a stand-alone credential or as part of LUC’s online Master of Jurisprudence in Children’s Law and Policy.
