SAMHSA_Web_IconThe Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s Center for Mental Health Services is accepting applications for the FY 2018 Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program. The purpose of the funding is to establish or expand and maintain ACT programs for individuals with a serious mental illness, as well as to improve behavioral health outcomes for people by using the ACT model to help reduce rates of hospitalization, mortality, substance use, homelessness, and involvement with the criminal justice system.
