Building and Connecting Reentry Partnerships Across North Carolina

Connecting exoffenders and their families to resources that provide opportunities for positive change

Note: We thank Dr. Dumas Harshaw and the First Baptist Church family for working with us in this effort. Dr. Harshaw has been a long time supporter of our reentry efforts in the community and we appreciate his continued support.

On Friday, October 3rd, we are having our Reentry Roundtable Leaders and Partners meet for a day long best practices workshop; I am very excited about having all of that knowledge in the same room and it will be a kickoff for what I think will be a Reentry Council to draft best practices workbook as well as a reentry legislative agenda that we are thinking about taking before the long session of the NC Legislature next year. This group currently represents about 23 counties across the state.

We are excited about bringing over 200 people from across the State to Raleigh-- the place where we kicked off our Reentry Resource Roundtables over 2 years ago.

Cost: $10.00 (for lunch)

  • Grassroots leaders who have begun Reentry Resource Roundtables across the state
  • Testimonials from exoffenders who are “succeeding against the odds”
  • Employers who share our vision
  • Community Partners who are committed to reentry work
  • Best practices from organizations that connect exoffenders to: jobs, housing, education and human services
  • And more….
